Our ongoing Cookie Management support helps the London Transport Museum effectively manage user consent for their website visitors ensuring their compliance with GDPR regulations.
Following on from our successful implementation of a bespoke cookie consent system for Transport for London, we were tasked with expanding the solution to TfL’s independently run museum.
The solution needed to use the same underlying technology and configuration as had been implemented for TfL in order to keep ongoing maintenance to a minimum, with additional styling applied to reflect the London Transport Museum’s brand.
As part of the setup, we provided consultancy to both London Transport Museum’s internal teams and third party development agencies to ensure they were able to correctly integrate the tool with their websites.
A consistent system, a distinct identity
London Transport Museum needed the same reliable, GDPR-compliant foundation already proven at Transport for London, but couldn’t simply inherit TfL’s look and feel wholesale. The Museum has its own visual identity, separate from its parent organisation, and the cookie consent experience needed to feel like a natural part of that.
SoBold kept the underlying technology and configuration identical to the TfL implementation, minimising ongoing maintenance, while applying styling specific to the Museum’s own branding. The result sits comfortably on ltmuseum.co.uk without visitors ever noticing the shared infrastructure underneath.
