Redesigning Forvis Mazars' global Careers Multisite, 20+ country career sites in one platform, to reflect the firm's evolved brand and Employer Value Proposition.
SoBold worked with Forvis Mazars to redesign and rebuild their Careers Multisite, covering the main careers-group site and 21 country-specific subdomains, totalling 22 public-facing career sites. Building on a partnership established in 2022, the project set out to turn a slow, fragmented set of sites into a single, dynamic recruitment platform built around the firm's refined Employer Value Proposition (EVP) and a younger, tech-savvy candidate audience.
The challenge
Forvis Mazars needed a careers experience that matched how a modern, tech-savvy audience expects to research and apply for jobs, and the existing sites weren’t delivering it. Finding a relevant role and getting in touch with a recruiter was harder than it should have been, and the design no longer reflected the firm’s evolved brand.
Beyond the dated user experience, the technical foundation across all 22 sites had accumulated issues that held back both performance and search visibility. Mobile page speed was slow, the combined sites carried a backlog of broken and redirected internal links, and gaps in metadata, alt text, and heading structure were limiting how the sites performed in search. With a main careers-group site and 21 country subdomains to manage, keeping the experience consistent across every market had also become difficult.
With the firm’s refined EVP ready to roll out, the timing was right for a full rebuild of the platform from the ground up.
Working with SoBold since: 2022
What we did
SoBold was engaged to redesign, rebuild, and technically optimise the Forvis Mazars Careers Multisite. We approached the UX against one ‘primary’ careers site, building high-fidelity wireframes informed by a full GA4 analysis and the Path Exploration tool to map real user flows and optimise the key red routes. That primary template then became the blueprint rolled out consistently across all 22 sites.
The build covered modernised UI design drawing on the Forvis Mazars ‘Vision’ palette, a smarter and more prominent Job Search feature, a rebuilt recruitment journey, and a full WordPress development on a clean, scalable codebase, with technical SEO and accessibility built in from the first wireframe through to launch.
A design system built to scale across 22 sites
With 22 career sites to maintain, consistency was the central challenge. SoBold delivered a comprehensive design system and a full component library as a Figma file, documenting every block and component attribute along with its basic interactions. This gives the Forvis Mazars team a single source of truth, allowing them to extend and maintain a consistent brand across every global career website without reinventing the design each time.
The redesign embedded Forvis Mazars' refined EVP throughout the experience. SoBold modernised the UI by introducing more colours from the firm's 'Vision' palette and carrying the slant from the Forvis Mazars logo through the design to reinforce brand identity.
The result is a contemporary, authentic representation of the firm's culture, designed across three standard breakpoints at 1440px, 768px, and 375px.
The candidate journey was rebuilt around making it easy to find a role and easy to make contact.
A smarter Job Search feature sits above the fold, navigation was made clear and intuitive, and related job offers are surfaced to keep candidates moving. On job offer pages, SoBold added recruiter contact links, including LinkedIn and WhatsApp channels, alongside clear calls-to-action, removing the friction between finding a role and starting a conversation.
The new platform was built on WordPress for its flexibility and scalability, on a clean and efficient codebase.
SoBold carried over all of Forvis Mazars' existing functionality, including their ATS integrations, the Job Alert System, and the multi-language Language Switcher managed through the WPML plugin. Security was strengthened with restricted CMS access controlled by two-factor authentication and role-based permissions.
Page speed was a priority given the audience and the starting metrics. SoBold compressed all images to the optimal WebP format and implemented lazy loading for every image below the fold.
Technical SEO and accessibility were addressed alongside performance, across all 22 locations. SoBold configured hreflang across key pages for every site, restructured heading tags to follow sequential best practice, cleaned up broken links and links to redirects, along with ensuring all old URLs were accounted for in our redirection strategy to ensure continuity for users and search engines.

Beyond the launch
The design system, component library, and best practice guides were built to outlast the launch. Together they give the Forvis Mazars team the tools to maintain a consistent brand and a healthy technical foundation across all 22 career sites as roles, markets, and content evolve, with SoBold’s documentation supporting their internal SEO team to keep on top of the issues identified during the rebuild.
