Translating a new brand identity into a high-performing website for Timera Energy

SoBold worked with Timera Energy to design and build a new website. The project built on a brand identity concept by an external designer, with SoBold managing the full design-to-development cycle across a five-week design phase and a six-week development build.

Launch website

The challenge

Timera Energy’s existing website no longer reflected the firm’s position in energy markets.

With a growing team and expanding focus across power, LNG, gas, and hydrogen, the site needed a complete refresh that communicated the depth of the firm’s consulting expertise and market analysis capabilities.

An external designer had developed a new brand direction, and SoBold’s brief was to take that identity and deliver a fully responsive, high-performing website with expanded content functionality.

The results

34% increase in organic sessions

34% increase in organic new users

34% increase in organic page views

16% decrease in organic bounce rate

What we did

SoBold managed both design and development across an 11-week delivery schedule.

The design phase translated the identity concepts through moodboards, wireframes, and full visual design across all responsive breakpoints, with SoBold challenging existing brand assets and refining the visual direction for digital.

Development delivered a Bootstrap-based build with dedicated sections for the team, services, and market insights, followed by a full migration from the previous platform, including 301 redirects, Yoast SEO configuration, and a SEMrush audit to protect search visibility through the transition.

A refreshed identity, translated to screen

SoBold translated initial design concepts into a fully responsive web design through a structured five-phase process: sitemap review and moodboards, high-fidelity wireframes, visual design application starting with the homepage, responsive design across all breakpoints, and a formal development handover with exported assets and prepared stylesheets.

The result is a clean, professional design with a dark colour scheme that conveys the firm’s authority in energy markets while making dense analytical content accessible and navigable.

Team depth, front and centre

Timera Energy defines itself by its practical industry experience.

The personnel section was designed to reflect this, presenting the team's collective expertise and individual specialisms across power, LNG, gas, and hydrogen markets.

For a consultancy where clients buy access to specific individuals and their market knowledge, the team page functions as much as a credentials page as an introduction.

Services structured across energy markets

Timera's service offering spans investment support, value management, and market analysis across multiple energy sectors.

SoBold structured the services section to present these capabilities clearly, allowing visitors to navigate by market focus or service type.

The goal was a layout that communicates breadth without losing the specificity that distinguishes the firm's expertise in each area.

Insights and commentary, migrated and expanded

Timera publishes regular market commentary and analytical insights.

SoBold migrated the existing blog content from the previous platform and rebuilt the news section with improved categorisation and navigation.

The migration preserved all existing URLs through 301 redirects, ensuring that search visibility and any inbound links to individual posts were maintained through the transition.

A seamless platform migration

SoBold managed the full migration, setting up 301 redirects for every existing URL, installing a new SSL certificate, and configuring Yoast SEO with optimised titles, descriptions, and alt tags across the site.

A SEMrush audit was conducted post-build to identify and resolve any remaining technical issues before launch.
