SoBold is at an exciting stage and we’re ready to kick on and become the market leader.
To get there, we’re building a marketing function from scratch, and we’re looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager to build it.
This is a rare chance to own a marketing function end-to-end and you’ll be tasked with designing the strategy, building the systems, and producing the work.
We want someone who rolls their sleeves up and produces the work at pace and at scale.
If getting stuck in, shipping fast and measuring everything against results is how you like to work you’ll thrive here.
You’ll work directly alongside the leadership team, with one clear shared goal to establish SoBold as the market leader
Key Responsibilities
You will own everything from strategy and positioning through to day-to-day execution.
You’ll produce content at scale, in-depth guides, articles and resources designed to rank in search and to be cited by AI answer engines.
You’ll run and optimise our paid campaigns across channels such as Google and LinkedIn, with the judgement to move budget towards what’s working and away from what isn’t.
You’ll grow our organic and AEO presence, plan and own events end-to-end (including making sure they’re well attended), and find new channels to drive growth.
You’ll work hand-in-hand with the Leadership team to shape the direction of our growth with the autonomy to build the function the way you believe is right.
Crucially, you’ll tie your activity to results. You’ll set goals, report on performance transparently, be honest when something isn’t working, and pivot quickly.
Genuine ownership, proactivity and a real passion for marketing are the most important aspects of this role.
We’ll also need you to have…
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a marketing role (agency experience is a strong plus).
- A proven track record of producing content yourself, at scale – including using AI tools to move quickly.
- A strong understanding of SEO and Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO).
- Hands-on experience planning and running paid campaigns.
- Confidence owning the numbers – setting targets, measuring results and adapting.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A self-starter mindset, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
