SoBold builds on a strong 2025 with the acquisition of Epik LLP’s Development and Delivery Business Unit

Contents

We’re delighted to share that SoBold has acquired the development and delivery business unit of Epik LLP (Epik).

This acquisition follows an exceptional 2025 for SoBold, which saw 55% year-on-year revenue growth, despite a particularly challenging year for agencies across the market.

The acquisition enables SoBold to continue growing our capabilities and reach across enterprise markets, and it is one of several strategic moves we’re planning to make this year as we continue to scale globally.

A natural fit

We started working with Epik in 2020, and the way our teams work together has always felt like a natural fit.

Epik’s client base closely aligns with SoBold’s, with a key focus on the real estate and financial services industries.

SoBold will manage the hosting, ongoing maintenance, and future updates for these clients, and as part of the transition, Epik’s delivery team will move across to SoBold, maintaining continuity throughout and beyond the handover.

We’re already working with these clients to offer a broader range of services, including technical SEO and optimising for LLMs to support their continued growth.

Building on 2025’s momentum

2025 was a big year for SoBold, both in terms of growth (revenue and team size) and the size of the projects we have been working on.

We brought in more senior people across strategy, delivery, and development, and opened our Bulgaria office in early 2025, which is overseen by Adriana Zaharieva, who has been with the business for over 5 years. The Bulgaria office has enabled us to tap into more development talent across Europe, and its launch has been a significant success.

The acquisition of Epik’s development team builds on all of this, strengthening what we can deliver and setting us up for what’s next.

What’s next

We’re excited about what lies ahead in 2026 as we focus on growing our international reach and continuing to invest in our team, processes, and delivery.

As AI becomes more widely adopted, quality matters more than ever, and we are well-positioned to capitalise on this opportunity as we increase our focus on technical excellence and operational resilience.

“We have always enjoyed working closely with Andy and the Epik team, and we’re excited to build upon that relationship formally.

This acquisition strengthens our experience across our core sectors and is part of a broader set of strategic investments we plan to make this year as we continue to scale the business in 2026 and beyond.”
