Sector: Financial Services
Working with the Digital Health Intelligence team, we designed and built an interactive market inteligence platform that was heavily integrated with PowerBi.
Launch websiteThe challenge
Digital Health Intelligence (DHI) is a market intelligence data business providing the most detailed database available on the current systems, technology and infrastructure installed at every NHS trust in the UK, together with future purchasing intentions and market trends analysis. The subscription-based service enables suppliers to understand and target market opportunities.
DHI’s previous platform was built on a CMS that made it hard for their team to manage, and equally hard for new features to be built and integrated.
The results
6 month project duration
92 performance Score in Google Lighthouse
1.6 Second load time
What we did
With the new solution, built on WordPress, SoBold emphasised the power of the search and personalisation.
Users are taken through a personalised onboarding journey allowing them to select the locations, contract values and organisations most suited to their business.

Establishing user journeys and flows
We combined the creation of user personas, information architecture, and high-fidelity wireframes to define the foundation of the platforms user experience.

All of a user's preferences were saved to the backend of the site to allow the DHI team to review. The ability to favourite, share and filter is also built into the site.

SoBold developed a custom module permission system for the project to allow DHI staff to modify customer access permissions with varying degrees of granularity.

The data for the site was surfaced from a third party external database with approx 20 interconnected tables, SoBold built a bespoke data update tool to ensure data on the site was kept up to date, whilst also ensuring site speed was as quick as possible.
Caching was enabled where possible to ensure the site remained quick to load and navigate, even with regular requests to the database.
