SoBold worked with ANGLE to redesign their company website integrated with real time market data feeds.

ANGLE, a global leader in capturing Circulating Tumor Cells (CTCs), reached a significant milestone in May 2022 when their Parsortix PC1 system received FDA clearance for capturing CTCs from metastatic breast cancer patients’ blood.
Having partnered with SoBold since 2015, this new phase of ANGLE’s business required a website that better reflected their leading market position and could scale for future growth. A key challenge was successfully migrating the large volume of content, which undergoes daily changes, to the new site without disruption.

What we did
SoBold worked with the ANGLE marketing team to redesign their existing website. User journeys were mapped out and the primary and secondary routes were defined.
After the UX phase, we moved to User Interface design. We aimed for a more modern aesthetic, creating visual breathing room and greater depth within the site’s layout.
After designing the new site, our Development team worked on building the Front End of the site, and ensuring that it was built pixel perfect.

Best-of-breed investor relations tools, market data feeds and regulatory newswires
We worked closely with Brighter IR and their SAAS platform. Throughout this process we had to ascertain what design limitations there may be with the new widgets used across the site.
Once the designs were approved, the real-time widgets and feeds were integrated into the site seamlessly. All feeds are fully responsive, served over HTTPS, and use fast and efficient code.

Design tailored to multiple target audiences
The challenge here was to ensure that the website was designed sufficiently to ensure both research institutes and key decision makers in global pharmaceutical organisations could clearly find the information they are looking for without conflicting with one another.


We inherited a base design from an agency who had been working with ANGLE on their corporate identity and worked on streamlining the UI, and creating a site that truly positioned ANGLE as a global business.

The build included integrations with Regulatory News Services, Email Alerts, Interactive Share Price Charting and Share Price RNS Widgets.

Once the design was signed off, SoBold created internal stylesheets and had multiple meetings internally to pass the design over to the development team.
The development phase is typically the least collaborative phase, whilst the SoBold developers are bringing the site to life.
We ensured there was a content freeze whilst we were pushing the new site live, and the feedback from ANGLE stakeholders has been overwhelmingly positive since its launch.

Ongoing website management
SoBold have been managing the ANGLE website since 2015, working closely with the Senior Leadership team to react and manage the flow of change requests on their website.
Change requests are regularly high-prioritiy due to market sensitivity and often given on extremely short notice.
Since the launch of the new website, SoBold have also been working closely with the ANGLE Marketing team to proactively design and improve new features on the website. The website is a considerable improvement on their previous website and we expect the site to continue to grow and succeed.
