As a quality assurance tester at SoBold you’ll be responsible for thoroughly testing and approving projects before they are launched to our clients and their end users. You will work closely with the design, development and project management teams to ensure quality at every stage of the project lifecycle. We aim to embody our high performance mantra in all we do and as such it’s important that all of the work we produce is of the highest standard and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manual and exploratory testing to find bugs and defects before release.
  • Work closely with the design and development teams to ensure our developed websites and solutions are delivered as intended.
  • Creating and executing test cases and scripts based on requirements specifications.
  • Create and maintain a growing suite of automation tests.
  • Identify and record defects fully to enable accurate triage.
  • Testing PHP upgrades on sites.

Key Requirements

  • 1+ year experience in software testing in a similar business or agency environment.
  • Understanding of testing and development principles.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of GIT-based workflows.
  • Good planning and time management skills.
  • Knowledge and experience with test automation such as Playwright.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
